Message from Alba Cássia (Brazil)
Hello, my name is Alba Cássia, I’m Brazilian,
I’m therapist and I am known as Lady Taylor. I am a Queen fan since 1980,
when I went with some friends of mine to some shows done here in Sao Paulo/
Brazil. As soon as I heard and saw Roger Taylor singing “I’m in
love with my car”, I fell in love with him and consequently for the rest
of the guys.
After that show, I started buying every little thing about the band. I was constituent of a bunch of fan clubs created here in Brazil, and, once, I participated in a contest where the fans should have had to answer some questions related to the band and who had won would have access to the band during Rock in Rio, in 1985.
Such contest happened between October and December in 1984. I answered the quiz and a few days later, I received the great news: I would meet Roger Taylor and Queen; I almost died!
Three friends of mine and me met Brian, Roger and John. After some minutes, Freddie appeared accompanied with his personal assistant, one translator and some other people. In that moment, he was a little bit worried, but he tried to be friendly. Afterwards, we knew that one Freddie’s friend was sick.
After that wonderful moment, when I was trying to speak English and call Roger’s attention, I received a kit with some souvenirs and Freddie told me in Portuguese: SUCESSO (Success). I said farewell to them and got a caress from Roger Taylor.
Today, after those years I always want to wish best regards to whom I love and admire so much.
That’s it!!!
Alba Cássia (Lady Taylor)

I send out to everyone listening warm wishes from the USA, where despite the difficult times of the past, Queen is still very much alive here on American soil, especially in Boston, Mass!
Long live Queen, and long live Freddie's memory!
